After creating your account, you'll see your unique invite code in the app. Share it with your partner — they can enter it when they sign up. Once they do, you'll be connected and can start sharing photos!
usie is when you're both in the frame together — the app detects two faces before you can snap. twosie is when you each take a separate photo that appears side by side in your timeline. One photo a day, your way!
usie mode requires the app to detect two faces in frame. Make sure both you and your partner are visible to the camera. The app uses on-device face detection — it counts faces but doesn't identify who they are.
Record a video (up to 15 seconds), pick an unlock date (1 week, 1 month, 1 year, or custom), and lock it away. When the date arrives, you'll both get a notification to open it together! Capsules can't be opened early.

Subscriptions are managed through the App Store. Go to Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions on your iPhone to manage or cancel. You'll keep Pro benefits until the end of your billing period.
Yes! Go to Settings > Theme and choose from 40+ beautiful themes. Your partner can have a different theme — it only changes your view. Some themes require usie Pro.
Your streak counts consecutive days where you've posted a usie or twosie. Miss a day and it resets! The app tracks both your current streak and your longest streak ever.
You can tag special usie photos with milestone markers (like "First Date", "Anniversary", "Vacation"). These appear as special highlights in your memory calendar.
Go to Settings > Relationship > Disconnect. This will remove the connection, allowing you to connect with someone new. Your photos remain in your account.
Absolutely. Your photos are encrypted and only visible to you and your connected partner. Face detection happens entirely on your device — we never see that data. We never look at, share, or sell your content. See our Privacy Policy for details.
Go to Settings > Account > Delete Account. Your account will be deactivated immediately and your profile will show as "Deleted" to your partner.
Yes! If you sign back in within 30 days, your account will be automatically reactivated with all your data intact. After 30 days, your account and all data are permanently deleted and cannot be recovered.
Definitely! twosie mode is perfect for LDR couples — each take your own selfie and they'll appear side by side in your timeline. Time capsules are also great for sending future surprises!
